Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Remus Stoicescu in the 4th minute of play. Nechifor Baștină didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lautaro Puig went, in the 5th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. 10 minutes into the game, Academia D3c3bal FC's John Forsberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benito Sanz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Axel Tasis got free with Nechifor Baștină in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Remus Stoicescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. 18 minutes into the match, Academia D3c3bal FC's goal looked a bit too open when Axel Tasis came free, but Nechifor Baștină reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benito Sanz was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Pavel Logofătu came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Academia D3c3bal FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pavel Logofătu couldn't finish the play. 43 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when John Forsberg came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The wind increased when Axel Tasis made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Academia D3c3bal FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eliseo Noboa came free, but Nechifor Baștină reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benito Sanz made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when John Forsberg sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Academia D3c3bal FC booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Axel Tasis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nicolae Diaconu hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Lautaro Puig fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nechifor Baștină having to interfere. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pavel Logofătu in the 67th minute of the match. Benito Sanz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Remus Stoicescu in the 69th minute. In the 71st minute, Aaron Alcocer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 72 minutes into the match, John Forsberg notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of Costa Rica's Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Lautaro Puig received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Nechifor Baștină tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Codrin Dersidan in the 78th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 78 played minutes Academia D3c3bal FC got a freekick which was hit by Aron Dărmănescu. Lautaro Puig kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Codrin Dersidan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Benito Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aaron Alcocer hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. 90 minutes into the match, Remus Stoicescu dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Benito Sanz, 1-5. If Codrin Dersidan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle sounded Academia D3c3bal FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Costa Rica.
