Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Honduras's Edmundo Espiga started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Lautaro Navarro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zlatko Zahovič in the 3rd minute of the match. After 7 played minutes Honduras got a freekick which was hit by Milagros Cabal. After a defensive mix-up in Honduras's zone, Fabio Savona stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lautaro Navarro came out of the goal and Fabio Savona tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a defensive mix-up in Eleven Young Elephants's zone, Edmundo Espiga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aaron Tanti came out of the goal and Edmundo Espiga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Severino Bueno in the 12th minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 16 minutes into the match, Severino Bueno dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Lautaro Navarro, 1-0. 22 minutes into the match, Edmundo Espiga notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Eleven Young Elephants's Aaron Tanti. Aaron Tanti was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 25th match minute, Eleven Young Elephants was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Qu Peng Kang to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Severino Bueno in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lautaro Navarro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 30th minute of the game Vilmos Szikora made a throw-in which Fabio Savona played forward. Severino Bueno had several of the Honduras's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 33 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-1 score and a disappointed Lautaro Navarro as he didn't even see the shot coming. If Edmundo Espiga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 42 minutes into the match, Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Severino Bueno. A collision led to Honduras getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Emanuel Ocampo hit a great ball. After 47 played minutes Eleven Young Elephants got a freekick which was hit by Vilmos Szikora. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Severino Bueno made a kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Honduras's goal looked a bit too open when Fabio Savona came free, but Lautaro Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 54 minutes of play, Eleven Young Elephants's Fabio Savona made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lautaro Navarro was left in no man's land by his defense there! Lautaro Navarro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Severino Bueno, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Honduras's attentive Luca Espinar managed to snatch the ball when Fabio Savona made a throw-in in the 59th minute of the game. Aaron Tanti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 69 minutes, Aaron Tanti successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When Honduras's Sebastian Villa in the 69th minute got a chance for a shot 69th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Lautaro Navarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severino Bueno in the 75th minute of play. After having played for 77 minutes, Fabio Savona managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Eleven Young Elephants's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fabio Savona was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 80th minute of the match Eleven Young Elephants got a corner. Honduras's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Fabio Savona ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Eleven Young Elephants's Fabio Savona to fire away a dangerous shot which Lautaro Navarro despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edmundo Espiga got free with Aaron Tanti in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Zlatko Zahovič had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eleven Young Elephants's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
