Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Tomas Berganza got the match started through his kick off. If Tomas Berganza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alex Cambeiro kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Aaron Tanti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Berganza in the 7th minute of the match. Aaron Tanti stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomas Berganza's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. Enzo Perez kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. 13 minutes into the match, Tomas Berganza dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Aaron Tanti, 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Berganza in the 16th minute of play forced Eleven Young Elephants's goalkeeper Aaron Tanti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aaron Tanti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Berganza in the 19th minute of the match. In the 20th minute, António Silva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 24th match minute, Panama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felipe Ros to maneuver through the defense. 25 minutes into the game, Zlatko Zahovič cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Marcos Cotilla was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Eleven Young Elephants's Aaron Tanti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Berganza in the 31st minute of play. In the 31st match minute, Eleven Young Elephants was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enzo Perez to maneuver through the defense. Panama's Miguel Miralles got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Eleven Young Elephants getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Enzo Perez hit a great ball. Abraham Alguacil took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 35th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Aaron Tanti. Eleven Young Elephants's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Eleven Young Elephants's zone, Tomas Berganza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aaron Tanti came out of the goal and Tomas Berganza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aaron Tanti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Berganza in the 41st minute of the match. 42 minutes had been played when some careless play by Eleven Young Elephants's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Abraham Alguacil was slow to take the kick. During this time Panama's players had a chance to rest. António Silva tried in the 42nd minute to hit away a contribution but miss-kicked the ball which ended up in his own goal and left an unhappy Aaron Tanti a with quite unnecessary self made goal. Result 2-1. 45 minutes into the match, Severino Bueno notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Panama's Marcos Cotilla. Marcos Cotilla was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Severino Bueno was the one to do the kick off. Isidoro Sarmiento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 54th minute, Eleven Young Elephants's Carlo Camilleri ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Marcos Cotilla. Marcos Cotilla yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-3. Aaron Tanti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidoro Sarmiento in the 59th minute of play. After having played for 63 minutes, Isidoro Sarmiento managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Panama's supporters crossed their fingers, but Isidoro Sarmiento was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tomas Berganza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aaron Tanti having to interfere. In the 66th minute, Tomas Berganza ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aaron Tanti was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-3. The supporters of Panama booed when Eleven Young Elephants was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ma Fan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aaron Tanti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abraham Alguacil in the 73rd minute of the match. In the 73rd minute Tomas Berganza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aaron Tanti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zlatko Zahovič's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcos Cotilla read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. Aaron Tanti came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Panama's Isidoro Sarmiento. But to his dismay, Isidoro Sarmiento quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-3. 84 minutes into the match, Tomas Berganza had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aaron Tanti. Eleven Young Elephants's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tomas Berganza was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-3. Eleven Young Elephants's Aaron Tanti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abraham Alguacil in the 91st minute of play. Panama's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
