Panama's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Eleven Young Elephants the free kick. In the 3rd minute, Alex Cambeiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 11th minute Darren Carabott shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 15th minute Miguel Miralles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aaron Tanti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Enzo Perez kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Marcos Cotilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zlatko Zahovič, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Aaron Tanti was a little too slow when Tomas Berganza got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 21st minute. The score was now 1-1. Marcos Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Darren Carabott, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 32 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Severino Bueno came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aaron Tanti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Berganza, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Marcos Cotilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Severino Bueno in the 34th minute of the match. The wind increased when Severino Bueno made the kick off in the second half. Eleven Young Elephants's Aaron Tanti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abraham Alguacil in the 51st minute of play. Qu Peng Kang hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Aaron Tanti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Berganza in the 52nd minute of play. Jose Carita was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. After 55 played minutes Eleven Young Elephants got a freekick which was hit by Qu Peng Kang. In the 56th minute, Tomas Berganza left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Panama fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Marcos Cotilla made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Darren Carabott sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Severino Bueno in the 63rd minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Eleven Young Elephants's Qu Peng Kang got a free kick in the 66th minute. 66 minutes into the match, Eleven Young Elephants's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Berganza came free, but Aaron Tanti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aaron Tanti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Berganza in the 70th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Enzo Perez during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Marcos Cotilla came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Eleven Young Elephants's Darren Carabott. But to his dismay, Darren Carabott quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Eleven Young Elephants's Aaron Tanti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Berganza in the 83rd minute of play. After 91 played minutes Eleven Young Elephants got a freekick which was hit by Zlatko Zahovič. In the 93rd minute Isidoro Sarmiento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aaron Tanti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Panama's Marcos Cotilla proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Panama from getting a goal against them. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
