Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Omar Bieito in the 26th minute of the match. 27 minutes had been played when some careless play by Chile's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Meng Jie Chong was slow to take the kick. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Seguí FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
