Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Daniel Zorita started the match with the kick off. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zhu Ao Ying in the 22nd minute of play. Michel Preudhomme showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 24th minute of the match. After 24 minutes of play, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Michel Preudhomme was left in no man's land by his defense there! Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zhu Ao Ying, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 30th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michel Preudhomme saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zhu Ao Ying's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Saden Merzouk in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Izemrasen Ben Barek charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Izemrasen Ben Barek the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ecuador's Luz Palacio was substituted for Daniel Zorita. Izemrasen Ben Barek kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. 48 minutes into the game, Luz Palacio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Michel Preudhomme was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Zhu Ao Ying to strike the kick off in the second half. Guga Matorin kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. 56 minutes into the match, quem me dá 1 milhão euros's goalkeeper Michel Preudhomme had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luz Palacio. Michel Preudhomme showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. After having played for 72 minutes, Luis Andino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luis Andino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Michel Preudhomme made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luz Palacio in the 73rd minute. Michel Preudhomme yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-5. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cauã Novaes in the 78th managed to get into a good position. In the 86th minute, Luz Palacio made a precise shot to the right of Michel Preudhomme. quem me dá 1 milhão euros's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-6. In the 94th minute of the match, Felix Montenegro got a very nice opportunity to score, but Michel Preudhomme was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Ecuador's Luis Andino was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Michel Preudhomme in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Guga Matorin during the 96th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
