The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fortunato Montini read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in GG Team FC's zone, Eliseo Mina stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fortunato Montini came out of the goal and Eliseo Mina tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hassan Marcou in the 14th minute of play. In the 17th minute Luz Tejedor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fortunato Montini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. GG Team FC's Hassan Marcou got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rolando Noboa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hassan Marcou in the 26th minute. After 27 minutes Peru's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Maciej Kaznocha who took care of the corner kick. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hassan Marcou in the 30th minute of the match. Bernardo Scandella replaced Stefan Cârstea. GG Team FC's attentive Maciej Kaznocha managed to snatch the ball when Moises Gayoso made a throw-in in the 63rd minute of the game. Peru's attentive Eliseo Mina managed to snatch the ball when Elia Guerini made a throw-in in the 65th minute of the game. With a little luck, GG Team FC's Fortunato Montini got control of the ball when Julian Murillo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Julian Murillo in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fortunato Montini prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fortunato Montini made an important save on a dangerous shot by Milagros Fraga in the 74th minute. In the 77th minute, Milagros Fraga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fortunato Montini read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play.
