The audience thought a goal was coming when Abdulkadir İslam got free with Pedro Manzanares in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to TAVSANCALI ÖMERANLISPOR getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Yusuf Ramos hit a great ball. In the 41st match minute, Colombia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Axel Montenegro to maneuver through the defense. After 42 played minutes TAVSANCALI ÖMERANLISPOR got a freekick which was hit by Poul Stengart. A sloppy throw-in by Poul Stengart in the 44th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Colombia's Luis Cazalla. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Ionel Zamfirescu made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Axel Montenegro sent off a good shot on target. In the 54th minute, Turgay Bostancı hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 54 minutes into the match, TAVSANCALI ÖMERANLISPOR's goalkeeper Ionel Zamfirescu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Axel Montenegro. Colombia's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Axel Montenegro in the 55th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Abram Sarmiento in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ionel Zamfirescu saved TAVSANCALI ÖMERANLISPOR from getting behind. TAVSANCALI ÖMERANLISPOR made a substitution. Iwo Hajto replaced Urban Åkerberg. Colombia's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. In the 64thth minute of the game Yusuf Mbappè who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Colombia's Pedro Manzanares was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Abdulkadir İslam kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Colombia's Abram Secada was substituted for Axel Montenegro. After 67 played minutes TAVSANCALI ÖMERANLISPOR got a freekick which was hit by Abdulkadir İslam. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yusuf Mbappè in the 68th minute of the match. TAVSANCALI ÖMERANLISPOR's Ionel Zamfirescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abram Secada in the 89th minute of play. 89 minutes into the match, Abram Secada had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ionel Zamfirescu. TAVSANCALI ÖMERANLISPOR's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Abram Secada was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Şeref Ayhan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pedro Manzanares read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. If Şeref Ayhan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Yusuf Opoischikov in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pedro Manzanares prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Colombia players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
