To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Joaquin Prats hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Eliseo Mina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ionel Zamfirescu having to interfere. Ionel Zamfirescu came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Peru's Julian Murillo. But to his dismay, Julian Murillo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. With a little luck, TAVSANCALI ÖMERANLISPOR's Ionel Zamfirescu got control of the ball when Julian Murillo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yusuf Mbappè, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Şeref Ayhan in the 29th minute of play. 31 minutes into the match, Julian Murillo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ionel Zamfirescu. TAVSANCALI ÖMERANLISPOR's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Julian Murillo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. After 36 minutes of play, Peru's Julian Murillo made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ionel Zamfirescu was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Şeref Ayhan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Turgay Bostancı made in the 44th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Peru's Joaquin Prats. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Julian Murillo made the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Julian Murillo in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ionel Zamfirescu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Iwo Hajto fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored TAVSANCALI ÖMERANLISPOR's protests and gave Iwo Hajto a yellow card for diving instead. Iwo Hajto hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. TAVSANCALI ÖMERANLISPOR made a substitution. Teodor Moți replaced Urban Åkerberg. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yusuf Josefsson in the 65th minute of the match. TAVSANCALI ÖMERANLISPOR's Yusuf Opoischikov was substituted for Ahmet Kadri Toralp. Peru's attentive Eliseo Mina managed to snatch the ball when Iwo Hajto made a throw-in in the 78th minute of the game. Şeref Ayhan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Peru made a substitution. In the 90th minute, Antonio Tenorio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 92 minutes into the match, TAVSANCALI ÖMERANLISPOR's goal looked a bit too open when Rafael Gallo came free, but Ionel Zamfirescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Peru had won after a very even match.
