Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Daniel Zorita got the match started through his kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Odpalony's zone, Agustín Saelices stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ryszard Blicharz came out of the goal and Agustín Saelices tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Odpalony's Piotr Solibieda got a free kick in the 7th minute. With an all-out effort, Odpalony's Julio Vera threw himself towards the right post 10 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Zacarias Aritza, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Odpalony was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bartosz Majkowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Odpalony's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ryszard Blicharz came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 19 minutes into the match, Odpalony's goal looked a bit too open when Agustín Saelices came free, but Ryszard Blicharz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Primitivo Andino hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Ryszard Blicharz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luis Andino went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 33rd minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ryszard Blicharz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 36 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ryszard Blicharz. Odpalony's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristian Sancho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Camilo Gisbert hit a great ball. 40 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ecuador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Bartosz Majkowski was slow to take the kick. During this time Odpalony's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Odpalony's Bartosz Majkowski to fire away a dangerous shot which Julio Vera despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After having played for 44 minutes, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Sancho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. George Nyström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zacarias Aritza stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Odpalony's goalkeeper Ryszard Blicharz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 54 minutes into the match, Odpalony's goalkeeper Ryszard Blicharz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Sancho. Ryszard Blicharz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 57th minute of the match. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leszek Gollob, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Odpalony's Ryszard Blicharz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Odpalony from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Ryszard Blicharz in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ryszard Blicharz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 85th minute. 87 minutes into the match, Odpalony's goalkeeper Ryszard Blicharz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Felix Montenegro. Ryszard Blicharz was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Felix Montenegro showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 87 minute of play. If Zacarias Aritza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Odpalony getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Miroslaw Bycofski hit a great ball. Ecuador played a much better game than Odpalony and deserved their victory. The Odpalony players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
