Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Joel Gaona got the match started through his kick off. After 6 played minutes FC Steaua Pildesti got a freekick which was hit by Nicolae Barbu. Marian Văduvescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filip Paulescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Marian Văduvescu came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Mexico's Alberto Tafalla. But to his dismay, Alberto Tafalla quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 24th minute, Nicolae Barbu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Lautaro Mancebo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filip Paulescu in the 27th minute of play. Marian Văduvescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 30th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 33rd minute of play forced FC Steaua Pildesti's goalkeeper Marian Văduvescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marian Văduvescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 34th minute of the match. When Robert Antohi came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the FC Steaua Pildesti fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Robert Antohi couldn't finish the play. Lautaro Mancebo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Filip Paulescu to make the kick off. Marian Văduvescu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lautaro Mancebo went, in the 51st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. In the 56th match minute, FC Steaua Pildesti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robert Antohi to maneuver through the defense. In the 60th match minute, Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonardo Leoz to maneuver through the defense. In the 62nd minute of the match, Joel Gaona tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Marian Văduvescu saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 67th minute, FC Steaua Pildesti's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Lautaro Mancebo fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Robert Antohi hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Lautaro Mancebo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 82 minutes into the match, FC Steaua Pildesti's goalkeeper Marian Văduvescu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alberto Tafalla. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucian Stere in the 83rd minute of the match. Lautaro Mancebo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marian Văduvescu having to interfere. After a rather tough play, FC Steaua Pildesti's Cristian Fința got a free kick in the 91st minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lautaro Mancebo got free with Marian Văduvescu in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. FC Steaua Pildesti succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Mexico had controlled the match.
