The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Abraham Windmuller during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 17 played minutes Dukaton f.c. got a freekick which was hit by Abraham Windmuller. 18 minutes into the game, Sebastian Villa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Foeke Wisgerhof was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 21 minutes into the match, Coos van Ankeren had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lautaro Navarro. Honduras's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Coos van Ankeren was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lukas Blaauwgeers in the 26th minute of play. Foeke Wisgerhof showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Foeke Wisgerhof showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 31st minute of the match. After 34 played minutes Lukas Blaauwgeers rounded Honduras's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-1. In the 36th match minute, Honduras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Esteban Carvallo to maneuver through the defense. After 41 played minutes Honduras got a freekick which was hit by Esteban Carvallo. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Coos van Ankeren stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Egbert Matthijs made in the 54th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Coos van Ankeren however managed to control. When Jochem Rijkaard, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 55 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Lautaro Navarro was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Milagros Cabal charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Milagros Cabal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Honduras's Milagros Cabal got a free kick in the 59th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lukas Blaauwgeers in the 65th minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 70th minute, Lukas Blaauwgeers made a precise shot to the right of Lautaro Navarro. Honduras's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Coos van Ankeren struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Lautaro Navarro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dukaton f.c.. In the 76th minute, Lukas Blaauwgeers ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lautaro Navarro was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Foeke Wisgerhof prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Steve Hilhorst kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Lautaro Navarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lukas Blaauwgeers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 91st minute, Coos van Ankeren got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Coos van Ankeren hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Honduras players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Dukaton f.c..
