Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 28 minutes into the game, Lautaro Mancebo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Robbie Southgate was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Alberto Tafalla struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Robbie Southgate didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mexico. In the 36th minute, Lautaro Mancebo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 37 minutes into the game, 高坤源 recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Dante Lacasa. 高坤源 showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. In the 41st minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robbie Southgate saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by 高坤源 in the 42nd minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 47 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when 高坤源 came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and 高坤源 made a kick off. Lautaro Mancebo in the 52ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Limeira's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joel Gaona was slow to take the kick. During this time Mexico's players had a chance to rest. Robbie Southgate showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Lautaro Mancebo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Robbie Southgate made a huge save. Lautaro Mancebo came free with the goalkeeper in the 90th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Robbie Southgate could save by the left post. Luca Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luca Rouco during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 94th minute, Luca Rouco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mexico's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
