Ricardo Zorita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Waclaw Poremba in the 6th minute of the match. Ricardo Zorita didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Waclaw Poremba went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. If Sebastiaan Middeljans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sebastiaan Middeljans scored 0-2 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ricardo Zorita, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 21st minute, Edgar Plaski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Waclaw Poremba managed to get in a good position for a shot. MK Investments's supporters rose to their feet, but Waclaw Poremba was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ricardo Zorita breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of El Salvador booed when MK Investments was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thomas Tonnis didn't get a good kick on the ball. 28 minutes into the match, El Salvador's Mateo Leguizamo broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Ricardo Zorita stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sebastiaan Middeljans's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. Ricardo Zorita showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastiaan Middeljans, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. When the match clock showed 37 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Sebastiaan Middeljans sped through El Salvador's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ricardo Zorita. Olaf Degens kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sebastiaan Middeljans stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita got control of the ball when Domenik Hoffhuis tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sebastiaan Middeljans got free with Ricardo Zorita in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 55th minute Waclaw Poremba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Zorita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 58 minutes, Ricardo Zorita successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. MK Investments's Waclaw Poremba was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 61st play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Sebastiaan Middeljans's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 65thth minute, Ricardo Zorita skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When Abram Luque came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the El Salvador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abram Luque couldn't finish the play. In the 68th minute, Waclaw Poremba made a precise shot to the right of Ricardo Zorita. El Salvador's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. Ricardo Zorita was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Sebastiaan Middeljans showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-6 in the 71 minute of play. After 74 played minutes El Salvador got a freekick which was hit by Jorge Magrina. The crowd rose to their feet as MK Investments's Domenik Hoffhuis slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ricardo Zorita. That made the score 0-7 after 76 minutes of play. Edgar Plaski was shown his second yellow card after 79 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 79th minute, Edgar Plaski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mateo Leguizamo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 80th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Peter Oldenborger. MK Investments's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 88 minutes into the match, Waclaw Poremba dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ricardo Zorita, 0-8. If Olaf Degens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 92 minutes into the match, El Salvador's goalkeeper Ricardo Zorita had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jimmie Cai. MK Investments's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
