Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Codruț Domuță got the match started through his kick off. A collision led to COLDPLAY getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Enginalp Hilal hit a great ball. 11 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Ahmet Demir came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 13 minutes of play, COLDPLAY's Codruț Domuță made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dante Lacasa was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luca Zorita was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 20th minute. Mexico's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. When Luca Zorita came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luca Zorita couldn't finish the play. Abdurrahim Tunçkan kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. In the 23rd minute of the match, Lautaro Mancebo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Turan Uluçam was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Joel Gaona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Lautaro Mancebo came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. Alberto Tafalla took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Turan Uluçam. Turan Uluçam dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Turan Uluçam made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Lautaro Mancebo sent off a good shot on target. COLDPLAY's Turan Uluçam played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 38th minute of play. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Demir in the 40th minute of play. If Alberto Tafalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, COLDPLAY's Codruț Domuță got a free kick in the 48th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The referee felt a red card was in order, 52 minutes into the game, when Lorenzo Cazalla put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 52nd minute of the game. One of Mexico:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of COLDPLAY:s goal. The supporters of Mexico booed when COLDPLAY was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristi Şuţu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lautaro Mancebo kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Mexico's Dante Lacasa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Mexico from getting a goal against them. COLDPLAY's Hakkı Devrim Tuğrul was substituted for Lütfi Özil. After 68 minutes COLDPLAY's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joel Gaona who took care of the corner kick. Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Turan Uluçam in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After 71 minutes of play, Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Turan Uluçam was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 74th match minute, Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joel Gaona to maneuver through the defense. Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 78th minute, Alberto Tafalla left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mexico fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. After 80 minutes of play, Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Turan Uluçam was left in no man's land by his defense there! Turan Uluçam showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 83rd minute of the match. 84 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Hakkı Devrim Tuğrul came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hakkı Devrim Tuğrul, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alberto Tafalla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alberto Tafalla struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Turan Uluçam didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mexico. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hakkı Devrim Tuğrul in the 95th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Mexico fully deserved thier win.
