Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Emanuel Vasco kicked off to start the match. Eloy Gartxot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 4th minute of play. Ovidio Quentin kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. The supporters of Steelares FC booed when Honduras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivan Navarro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lautaro Navarro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Amadeo Marcones in the 14th minute. When Honduras's Edmundo Espiga in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jacobo Gartzi during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 29 minutes of play, Honduras's Edmundo Espiga made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eloy Gartxot was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 34th minute, Steelares FC's Emanuel Vasco ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Lautaro Navarro. Lautaro Navarro yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. Honduras's defense didn't have a chance, in the 37th minute, when Emanuel Vasco scored to the left of an out of position Lautaro Navarro, making the score, 2-2. Edmundo Espiga might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eloy Gartxot. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edmundo Espiga ran back to his position shaking his head. Edmundo Espiga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Steelares FC booed when Honduras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edmundo Espiga didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amadeo Marcones in the 47th minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Eloy Gartxot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 55th minute of play. When Honduras's Edmundo Espiga in the 59th minute got a chance for a shot 59th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The audience was convinced that Edmundo Espiga's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eloy Gartxot was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. In the 78th minute Emanuel Vasco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lautaro Navarro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Steelares FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 84th minute, when Edmundo Espiga scored to the left of an out of position Eloy Gartxot, making the score, 2-4. Steelares FC made a substitution. Silvestre Adrio replaced Blas Bernabel. 88 minutes into the match, Steelares FC's goal looked a bit too open when Edmundo Espiga came free, but Eloy Gartxot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Amadeo Marcones fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Steelares FC's protests and gave Amadeo Marcones a yellow card for diving instead. Amadeo Marcones hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Edmundo Espiga was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 94th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. With his leg Eloy Gartxot managed to avoid a goal in the 96thth minute, when Honduras's Edmundo Espiga fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The Honduras supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Honduras would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
