Benito Sanz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Magnus Björkqvist went, in the 3rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. The audience was convinced that Magnus Björkqvist's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benito Sanz was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. Walter Jönsson might have been able to make a better finish in the 14th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Benito Sanz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Walter Jönsson ran back to his position shaking his head. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Magnus Björkqvist in the 19th minute of play. Walter Jönsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Benito Sanz didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Onsala Ass Kickers's Magnus Björkqvist shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-4 in the ordered_time% minute. After 34 played minutes Onsala Ass Kickers got a freekick which was hit by Börge Backman. Walter Jönsson scored 0-5 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benito Sanz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Costa Rica's Lautaro Puig got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Magnus Björkqvist managed to get in a good position for a shot. Onsala Ass Kickers's supporters rose to their feet, but Magnus Björkqvist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benito Sanz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Axel Tasis to make the kick off. After 51 minutes, Åke Biörkquist mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Onsala Ass Kickers and the Costa Rica players grew even worse after the yellow card. Åke Biörkquist hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. 56 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Magnus Björkqvist came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Walter Jönsson received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Benito Sanz came out and tried to block the shot, but Walter Jönsson slotted it home off the left post making it 1-6 in the 59th minute. Walter Jönsson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Benito Sanz having to make a save. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Walter Jönsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Abel Carballo during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 68th minute, Abel Carballo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Aaron Alcocer hit a great ball. After 71 played minutes, Onsala Ass Kickers's Johannes Målare shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Benito Sanz came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Onsala Ass Kickers reached it. Costa Rica's defense didn't have a chance, in the 74th minute, when Magnus Björkqvist scored to the left of an out of position Benito Sanz, making the score, 1-7. After 77 minutes, Jens-Åke Haeger mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Onsala Ass Kickers and the Costa Rica players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Onsala Ass Kickers's Jens-Åke Haeger got a free kick in the 77th minute. In the 78th minute Eliseo Noboa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rickard Wiklund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee felt a red card was in order, 83 minutes into the game, when Alexander Carballo put in a rough tackle. Benito Sanz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Johannes Målare went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-8 was the resulting score. Lautaro Puig received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Rickard Wiklund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Onsala Ass Kickers played a much better game than Costa Rica and deserved their victory. The Costa Rica players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
