Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Emanuel Vasco started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the game, Fabricio Ganix was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Steelares FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Costa Rica the free kick. A collision led to Steelares FC getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Fabricio Ganix hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Nicasio Barea managed to get in a good position for a shot. Steelares FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Nicasio Barea was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benito Sanz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 17 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Emanuel Vasco came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Costa Rica from getting a goal against them. 21 minutes into the match, Nicasio Barea had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nicasio Barea was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Lautaro Puig struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Eloy Gartxot didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Costa Rica. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Hugo Ferrant hit a great ball. In the 29th minute of the match Nicasio Barea sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Benito Sanz skillfully saved the ball. Axel Tasis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Axel Tasis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eloy Gartxot read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Axel Tasis hit a great ball. Axel Tasis might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eloy Gartxot. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Axel Tasis ran back to his position shaking his head. 43 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Amadeo Marcones. 45 minutes into the match, Nicasio Barea notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Costa Rica's Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Axel Tasis to make the kick off. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicasio Barea, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. After having played for 65 minutes, Axel Tasis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Costa Rica's supporters crossed their fingers, but Axel Tasis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hugo Ferrant hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. In the 69th match minute, Steelares FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Blas Bernabel to maneuver through the defense. Emanuel Vasco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Steelares FC's Silvestre Adrio was substituted for Nicasio Barea. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabricio Ganix in the 83rd minute of the match. In the 85thth minute of the game Axel Tasis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Steelares FC's Eloy Gartxot was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 88 minutes into the match, Fabricio Ganix notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Costa Rica's Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Blas Bernabel in the 91st minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abel Carballo hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. When the referee ended the match the Steelares FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
