Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Moises Fernandino kicked off to start the match. A sloppy throw-in by Gualterio Felo in the 3rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by El Salvador's Luis Rubio. Dennis Carrea made an important save on a dangerous shot by Moises Fernandino in the 4th minute. Bertrán Olguín scored 0-1 in the 7th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ricardo Zorita, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 10th minute, Bertrán Olguín made a precise shot to the right of Ricardo Zorita. El Salvador's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. After 18 minutes of play, Vaffancalcio's Bertrán Olguín made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ricardo Zorita was left in no man's land by his defense there! Bertrán Olguín scored 0-4 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ricardo Zorita, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Bertrán Olguín recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ricardo Zorita came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Vaffancalcio's Bertrán Olguín. But to his dismay, Bertrán Olguín quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. Vaffancalcio were awarded a corner in the 37th minute after El Salvador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Claudio Colucci took the corner. Jesus Carvallo thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Ricardo Zorita, a very annoying self made goal in the 37th minute which led to 0-6. 42 minutes into the game, Jesus Carvallo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. El Salvador's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vaffancalcio the free kick. Jesus Carvallo hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Vaffancalcio's Bertrán Olguín got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Bertrán Olguín managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vaffancalcio's supporters rose to their feet, but Bertrán Olguín was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ricardo Zorita breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Vaffancalcio's Bertrán Olguín got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vaffancalcio made a substitution. Ambrosio Xabel replaced Steve Valk.

In the 53rd minute, Lorenzo Yepes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 53 minutes into the match, Vaffancalcio's Claudio Colucci broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 56 minutes into the game, Vaffancalcio's Alberto Di Clemente nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ricardo Zorita made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-7. Bertrán Olguín received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Ricardo Zorita tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Alberto Di Clemente's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ricardo Zorita was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. The Vaffancalcio fans' excitement grew in the 67th match minute when Vaffancalcio's Alberto Di Clemente looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-9 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alberto Di Clemente in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ricardo Zorita saved El Salvador from getting behind. Alberto Di Clemente sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 82nd match minute, El Salvador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valentino Ferrant to maneuver through the defense. 83 minutes into the game, Kurt Hesse cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-12. Ricardo Zorita was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Bertrán Olguín fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Zorita having to interfere. Ricardo Zorita was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Bertrán Olguín showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-13 in the 88 minute of play. In the 91st minute, Vaffancalcio's Alberto Di Clemente dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-14. The crowd rose to their feet as Alberto Di Clemente kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ricardo Zorita. That made the score 0-15 in the 95 minute of play. Ricardo Zorita didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 98th minute, which inside left pole to 0-16. When the final whistle sounded Vaffancalcio left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than El Salvador.
