Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Hieronim Cisek took the ball and in the 2 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julio Vera. Julio Vera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristian Sancho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Turan Uluçam breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Turan Uluçam tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Ahmet Demir tried to sneak it across the goal line. Henk Boegaerts's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Henk Boegaerts helped the player get up and apologised. Henk Boegaerts hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Ahmet Demirs short, quick shot in the 26thth minute got Julio Vera to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Luis Andino kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. 34 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Turan Uluçam made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 41 played minutes COLDPLAY got a freekick which was hit by Enginalp Hilal. In the 41st minute, Daniel Zorita sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and COLDPLAY's Turan Uluçam didn't even have to move. In the 43rd minute, Ahmet Demir made a precise shot to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Codruț Domuță in the 46thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Julio Vera, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 47th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Turan Uluçam saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Codruț Domuță made the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Codruț Domuță in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Turan Uluçam took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 55th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. COLDPLAY's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. Daniel Zorita made a great header on Ecuador's corner, it was just that COLDPLAY's Turan Uluçam managed to reach the ball for a save. The crowd rose to their feet as Ecuador's Felix Montenegro slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Turan Uluçam. That made the score 2-2 after 56 minutes of play. When Ecuador's Cristian Sancho in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye COLDPLAY's goalie prevented a goal. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Codruț Domuță in the 62nd minute of play. Codruț Domuță struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for COLDPLAY. COLDPLAY's Hakkı Devrim Tuğrul was substituted for Lütfi Özil. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Andino in the 69th minute of play forced COLDPLAY's goalkeeper Turan Uluçam to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 70th minute after COLDPLAY's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. After 71 minutes COLDPLAY's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Daniel Zorita almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but COLDPLAY's Turan Uluçam did a great save. In the 78th minute, Daniel Zorita made a precise shot to the right of Turan Uluçam. COLDPLAY's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. COLDPLAY's Turan Uluçam played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 85th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Ahmet Demir stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Ahmet Demir tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Julio Vera didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Codruț Domuță went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 3-3 was the resulting score. Ecuador were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
