Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Daniel Zorita got the match started through his kick off. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 2nd minute to try and stop a shot by COLDPLAY's Ahmet Demir. But to his dismay, Ahmet Demir quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Daniel Zorita's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Turan Uluçam read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. Daniel Zorita took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Turan Uluçam. Turan Uluçam dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Lütfi Özil blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Julio Vera having to make a save. 17 minutes into the match, COLDPLAY's goal looked a bit too open when Agustín Saelices came free, but Turan Uluçam reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 2-1 became the score in the 18th minute when Codruț Domuță elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ahmet Demir, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. 23 minutes into the match, COLDPLAY's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Andino came free, but Turan Uluçam reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristian Sancho scored 2-2 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Turan Uluçam, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Codruț Domuță got free with Julio Vera in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 30th minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Felix Montenegro struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Turan Uluçam didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. 38 minutes into the match, COLDPLAY's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Turan Uluçam reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Codruț Domuță to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Codruț Domuță came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Codruț Domuță in the 56th minute of play. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Codruț Domuță in the 58th minute of play. Turan Uluçam didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristian Sancho went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. Turan Uluçam made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Luis Andino sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristian Sancho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Turan Uluçam breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. COLDPLAY's Hakkı Devrim Tuğrul was substituted for Lütfi Özil. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Codruț Domuță in the 70th minute of the match. Luis Andino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Turan Uluçam having to interfere. After 82 minutes COLDPLAY's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. COLDPLAY were awarded a corner in the 91th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Enginalp Hilal took the corner. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than COLDPLAY throughout the match.
