Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Efrain Moruga made in the 3rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Kakucs FC's João Setúbal. Árpád Sebes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lautaro Puig, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Benito Sanz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Floyd Hasselbaink's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lautaro Puig during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Kakucs FC booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lautaro Puig didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Kakucs FC's Floyd Hasselbaink got a free kick in the 15th minute. Dániel Böde sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Árpád Sebes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eliseo Noboa went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. With an all-out effort, Kakucs FC's Benito Sanz threw himself towards the right post 25 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Tamás Galambos, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Kakucs FC were awarded a corner in the 27th minute after Costa Rica's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Álmos Bertha took the corner. The corner led Kakucs FC's Álmos Bertha to fire away a dangerous shot which Benito Sanz despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 32 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Costa Rica! A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Lautaro Puig hit a great ball. 35 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dániel Böde. Axel Tasis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Árpád Sebes having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Kakucs FC's Przemyslaw Zuraw got a free kick in the 39th minute. After having played for 41 minutes, Axel Tasis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Costa Rica's supporters crossed their fingers, but Axel Tasis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tibor Csernyi might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Benito Sanz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tibor Csernyi ran back to his position shaking his head.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Axel Tasis was the one to do the kick off. Árpád Sebes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eliseo Noboa went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Abel Carballo got a free kick in the 57th minute. In the 58th minute, Floyd Hasselbaink hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eliseo Noboa received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Árpád Sebes came out and tried to block the shot, but Eliseo Noboa slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 60th minute. Juan Rubio kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. In the 64th minute, Floyd Hasselbaink left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kakucs FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Kakucs FC's Dániel Böde. But to his dismay, Dániel Böde quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tibor Csernyi in the 70th minute of play. In the 70th minute, Tibor Csernyi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benito Sanz was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-3. The referee showed João Setúbal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Kakucs FC's João Setúbal got a free kick in the 87th minute. 88 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's Axel Tasis broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 89 minutes into the match, Axel Tasis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Árpád Sebes. Kakucs FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Axel Tasis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-5. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Abel Carballo hit a great ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Costa Rica had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
