Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Luis Andino almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but ≮王者归来≯ 君临天下's Mátyás Dobi did a great save. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Mátyás Dobi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 曹树迪 in the 33rd minute of play. The Ecuador fans' excitement grew in the 36th match minute when Ecuador's Cristian Sancho looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Luis Andino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Luis Andino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mátyás Dobi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Agustín Saelices had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 46 played minutes ≮王者归来≯ 君临天下 got a freekick which was hit by Van Von Bischhoffshausen. After the first half Ecuador were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Daniel Zoritas short, quick shot in the 52ndth minute got Mátyás Dobi to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When the match had gone on for 54 minutes, Cristian Sancho took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Mátyás Dobi to make any attempt to save it. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 曹树迪 in the 60th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by 杨云鹏 in the 96th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
