Pedro Manzanares was a little too slow when Dieguito Maradona got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 7th minute. The score was now 1-0. Through an outstanding action, after 11 minutes, Pedro Manzanares successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The corner went over the outstretched arms of LA LUZ F.C.'s goalie and right to Luis Cazalla. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. LA LUZ F.C.'s manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. If Abram Sarmiento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A sloppy throw-in by Danilo Gonza in the 29th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Colombia's Pascual Carballar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santino Seco in the 32nd minute of play forced LA LUZ F.C.'s goalkeeper Miguel Ángel Torres to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Miguel Ángel Torres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Axel Montenegro in the 33rd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Axel Montenegro in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Miguel Ángel Torres saved LA LUZ F.C. from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Axel Montenegro in the 35th minute of play forced LA LUZ F.C.'s goalkeeper Miguel Ángel Torres to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Dieguito Maradona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. LA LUZ F.C.'s Miguel Ángel Torres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Axel Montenegro in the 38th minute of play. Danilo Gonza hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Miguel Ángel Torres showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abram Sarmiento in the 41st minute of the match. In the 42nd match minute, LA LUZ F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaston Ferman to maneuver through the defense. Miguel Ángel Torres took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Axel Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Miguel Ángel Torres didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Axel Montenegro went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

LA LUZ F.C. made a substitution. Atilla Açıkalın replaced Dieguito Maradona. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Atilla Açıkalın stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Axel Montenegro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Miguel Ángel Torres showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abram Sarmiento, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. 57 minutes into the match, LA LUZ F.C.'s goalkeeper Miguel Ángel Torres had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Santino Seco. In the 62nd minute, Axel Montenegro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Colombia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Miguel Ángel Torres took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abram Sarmiento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 75 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Jailson Britto came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to LA LUZ F.C. getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Danilo Gonza hit a great ball. Colombia made a substitution. Abram Secada replaced Axel Montenegro. Kevin Mastache took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 92nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Miguel Ángel Torres. LA LUZ F.C.'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 93rd minute, Kevin Mastache hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Loukas Botinos kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. In the 97thth minute of the game Santino Seco who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but LA LUZ F.C.'s Miguel Ángel Torres was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Colombia players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented LA LUZ F.C. from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
