Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. Antonio Arias made a great header on Ecuador's corner, it was just that FC KOMETA's Ignas Žemaitis managed to reach the ball for a save. Ignas Žemaitis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Andino in the 9th minute of play forced FC KOMETA's goalkeeper Ignas Žemaitis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC KOMETA's Ignas Žemaitis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 11th minute of play. After 18 played minutes FC KOMETA got a freekick which was hit by Jogaila Markulis. Ignas Žemaitis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristian Sancho went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 23 minutes into the game, Daniel Zorita cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Ignas Žemaitis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Daniel Zorita took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ignas Žemaitis. Ignas Žemaitis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 30th minute of play forced FC KOMETA's goalkeeper Ignas Žemaitis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 30 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of FC KOMETA's Ignas Žemaitis. Ignas Žemaitis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ignas Žemaitis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 35 minutes, Daniel Zorita made it 0-5 with a short kick to the right side. FC KOMETA's Ignas Žemaitis tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. FC KOMETA's Ignas Žemaitis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 41st minute of play. In the 43rdth minute of the game Daniel Zorita who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC KOMETA's Ignas Žemaitis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to FC KOMETA getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Deimantas Valys hit a great ball. The FC KOMETA players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ecuador were winning 0-5.

The wind increased when Daniel Zorita made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Zarando Palma notched a goal, 1-5, to the right of Ecuador's Julio Vera. Julio Vera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zarando Palma fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in FC KOMETA's zone, Daniel Zorita stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ignas Žemaitis came out of the goal and Daniel Zorita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ignas Žemaitis was a little too slow when Cristian Sancho got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 64th minute. The score was now 1-6. Through an outstanding action, after 67 minutes, Ignas Žemaitis successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 68 minutes into the match, FC KOMETA's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Ignas Žemaitis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ignas Žemaitis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 70th minute. With a little luck, FC KOMETA's Ignas Žemaitis got control of the ball when Cristian Sancho tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ignas Žemaitis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 74th minute of the match. The supporters of Ecuador booed when FC KOMETA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomas Katkus didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC KOMETA made a substitution. Regimantas Pažarauskas replaced Zigmas Boruta. FC KOMETA's Eduardas Ginevičius was substituted for Tomas Katkus. Rimvydas Griškevičius's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. With his leg Ignas Žemaitis managed to avoid a goal in the 90thth minute, when Ecuador's Cristian Sancho fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rimvydas Griškevičius in the 95th minute of play. Ecuador played a much better game than FC KOMETA and deserved their victory. The FC KOMETA players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
