After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Camilo Gisbert got a free kick in the 35th minute. GKS 1977 BEŁCHATÓW's Beniamin Sakowicz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Andino in the 38th minute of play. Jurand Zawadzki recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. GKS 1977 BEŁCHATÓW's Beniamin Sakowicz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 41st minute of play. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Beniamin Sakowicz having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Miromir Majerowicz to strike the kick off in the second half. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jurand Zawadzki in the 51st minute of play. Camilo Gisbert kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. GKS 1977 BEŁCHATÓW's Miromir Majerowicz got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 69th match minute, GKS 1977 BEŁCHATÓW was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jurand Zawadzki to maneuver through the defense. After 70 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Primitivo Andino. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jurand Zawadzki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 85th match minute, GKS 1977 BEŁCHATÓW was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pankracy Lizewski to maneuver through the defense. GKS 1977 BEŁCHATÓW's Hector Osmundo was substituted for Jurand Zawadzki. After 95 minutes of play, GKS 1977 BEŁCHATÓW's Miromir Majerowicz made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Julio Vera was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Ecuador players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
