Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Tor-Henrik Rosenlund kicked off to start the match. In the 6th minute Tor-Henrik Rosenlund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Venezuela fans' excitement grew in the 16th match minute when Venezuela's Tomas Illescas looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 28th minute Tor-Henrik Rosenlund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Camilo Gaos hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. With an all-out effort, Suleskard's Jonathan Ferrant threw himself towards the right post 31 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Tor-Henrik Rosenlund, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tor-Henrik Rosenlund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 42 played minutes Suleskard got a freekick which was hit by Espen Melhus. Espen Melhus hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Suleskard's Espen Melhus got a free kick in the 47th minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomas Illescas made a kick off. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Ådne Østvang tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tomas Illescas took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ådne Østvang. Ådne Østvang dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. 64 minutes into the game, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ådne Østvang made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Thomas Hindenes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ådne Østvang made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomas Illescas in the 70th minute. Suleskard's defense didn't have a chance, in the 70th minute, when Tomas Illescas scored to the left of an out of position Ådne Østvang, making the score, 1-4. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 81 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Thomas Hindenes came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Suleskard's Tor-Henrik Rosenlund in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Venezuela's goalie prevented a goal. In the 86th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Salvador Gisbert to maneuver through the defense. Patricio Costa kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. The Venezuela supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Venezuela would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
