Mariano Lacasa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Leonard Rosen having to make a save. In the 16th match minute, Chile was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Orlando Casaus to maneuver through the defense. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind AA Bełchatów's goalkeeper Leonard Rosen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mariano Lacasa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Leonard Rosen having to make a save. Leonard Rosen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Lacasa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vitinho de Barros in the 34th minute of play. After some careless play in the AA Bełchatów defense, Mariano Lacasa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leonard Rosen. The AA Bełchatów fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leonard Rosen should have stopped the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as Vitinho de Barros kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Thiago Pliego. That made the score 1-3 in the 41 minute of play. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vitinho de Barros made a kick off. After 51 played minutes AA Bełchatów got a freekick which was hit by Stanislaw Fink. Ludomil Frankowski hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. After having played for 59 minutes, Mariano Lacasa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chile's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mariano Lacasa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Mariano Lacasa came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Chile fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mariano Lacasa couldn't finish the play. Mariano Lacasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leonard Rosen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. After 70 minutes of play, Chile's Mariano Lacasa made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Leonard Rosen was left in no man's land by his defense there! Vitinho de Barros scored 2-4 in the 73rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Thiago Pliego, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Mariano Lacasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leonard Rosen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play.
