Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Codruț Domuță started the match with the kick off. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lütfi Özil in the 3rd minute of play. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Turan Uluçam made a huge save. The supporters of Ecuador booed when COLDPLAY was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Codruț Domuță didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cristian Sancho's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 12thth minute, Turan Uluçam skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 13 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Codruț Domuță came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Daniel Zorita kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Turan Uluçam. That made the score 1-0 in the 15 minute of play. Luis Andino hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. 24 minutes into the match, COLDPLAY's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Turan Uluçam reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 29th minute of the match, Daniel Zorita got a very nice opportunity to score, but Turan Uluçam was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Lütfi Özil kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Turan Uluçam was out of position in the 31 minute of play, and Cristian Sancho capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Cristian Sancho really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. COLDPLAY's Turan Uluçam proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save COLDPLAY from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lütfi Özil in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. 40 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Ahmet Demir came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Daniel Zorita took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Turan Uluçam. Turan Uluçam dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Camilo Gisbert's late challenge caught a COLDPLAY's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Camilo Gisbert helped the player get up and apologised. In the 45th minute, Camilo Gisbert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniel Zorita stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Turan Uluçam tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Turan Uluçam showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. In the 57th minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Codruț Domuță in the 60th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Turan Uluçam showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Turan Uluçam came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Cristian Sancho. But to his dismay, Cristian Sancho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. In the 71st minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Turan Uluçam saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. COLDPLAY's Hakkı Devrim Tuğrul was substituted for Lütfi Özil. The audience was convinced that Felix Montes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Turan Uluçam was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. In the 76th minute, Enginalp Hilal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Turan Uluçam showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Ecuador's Felix Montenegro got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Turan Uluçam showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Agustín Saelices, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. In the 88th minute Codruț Domuță shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 93 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ecuador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Enginalp Hilal was slow to take the kick. During this time COLDPLAY's players had a chance to rest. Hakkı Devrim Tuğrul made a great header on COLDPLAY's corner, it was just that Ecuador's Julio Vera managed to reach the ball for a save. Turan Uluçam made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 96th minute of play. When the referee ended the match the Ecuador players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
