After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Vlado Ushagelov kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. Tzolo Babanski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 14th minute ФК Фанагория were awarded a corner. Lilcho Chervenyashki went to the cornerflag to take it. Tzolo Babanski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patricio Costa, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Jose Correa hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. The supporters of Venezuela booed when ФК Фанагория was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Minko Popangelov didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tzolo Babanski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Patricio Costa went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. ФК Фанагория's Tzolo Babanski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 36th minute of play. Venezuela's Jonathan Venegas quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Minko Popangelov, made in the 47th minute of the game. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tomas Illescas to strike the kick off in the second half. Teofan Ralchevski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Tzolo Babanski was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Patricio Costa showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 55 minute of play. Tomas Illescas's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 69thth minute, Tzolo Babanski skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Tomas Illescas in the 73rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Tzolo Babanski, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The audience was convinced that Tomas Illescas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tzolo Babanski was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Vlado Ushagelov recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tzolo Babanski having to interfere.
