Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Costa Rica's Axel Tasis started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Magnus Björkqvist in the 2nd minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Onsala Ass Kickers getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Viggo Billing hit a great ball. Eliseo Noboa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rickard Wiklund read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by Onsala Ass Kickers's Magnus Björkqvist. But to his dismay, Magnus Björkqvist quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 12 minutes into the match, Walter Jönsson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Walter Jönsson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 15th minute Magnus Björkqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Magnus Björkqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Magnus Björkqvist in the 18th minute of the match. In the 27th minute Magnus Björkqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 30 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Magnus Björkqvist came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Mikael Alebäck fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Onsala Ass Kickers's protests and gave Mikael Alebäck a yellow card for diving instead. After 34 played minutes Onsala Ass Kickers got a freekick which was hit by Mikael Alebäck. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Magnus Björkqvist in the 40th minute of play. In the 40th minute, Alan Moruga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Magnus Björkqvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eliseo Noboa's late challenge caught a Onsala Ass Kickers's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eliseo Noboa helped the player get up and apologised. In the 46th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eliseo Noboa to maneuver through the defense. Magnus Björkqvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Walter Jönsson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 53 minutes, Alan Moruga mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Costa Rica and the Onsala Ass Kickers players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Onsala Ass Kickers booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alan Moruga didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benito Sanz acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 55th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Åke Biörkquist. In the 62nd minute of the match Jens-Åke Haeger shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Benito Sanz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Costa Rica from getting a goal against them. Eliseo Noboa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 72nd minute Axel Tasis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rickard Wiklund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 74th minute of the match, Magnus Björkqvist tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Benito Sanz saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 77 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's Axel Tasis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rickard Wiklund narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Benito Sanz was out of position in the 82 minute of play, and Magnus Björkqvist capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Magnus Björkqvist really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. The crowd rose to their feet as Onsala Ass Kickers's Magnus Björkqvist slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Benito Sanz. That made the score 0-4 after 88 minutes of play. Lautaro Puig kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Onsala Ass Kickers played a much better game than Costa Rica and deserved their victory. The Costa Rica players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
