When the match had gone on for 4 minutes, Aureliusz Mockiewicz put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. Millano Bartumeu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Camilo Franco in the 10th minute. When Uruguay's Francisco Seco in 15 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Millano Bartumeu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Gisbert, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aureliusz Mockiewicz in the 31st minute of play. When the match had gone on for 36 minutes, Aureliusz Mockiewicz put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. Granatowo-Bordowi's Millano Bartumeu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Granatowo-Bordowi from getting a goal against them. The Uruguay players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Granatowo-Bordowi were winning 0-4.

Millano Bartumeu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francisco Seco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kryspin Malewicki was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 61 minutes into the match. Granatowo-Bordowi:s Millano Bartumeu showed great skill when he stopped Jaime Cazalla:s penalty. Millano Bartumeu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisco Seco in the 68th minute of play. Joaquin Gayoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aureliusz Mockiewicz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ludomir Trynda made a great header on Granatowo-Bordowi's corner, it was just that Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso managed to reach the ball for a save. Francisco Seco's late challenge caught a Granatowo-Bordowi's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Francisco Seco got his second yellow card in the match during the 79th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Francisco Seco hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Millano Bartumeu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximiliano Escribano in the 84th minute of play. After 87 minutes of play, Uruguay's Maximiliano Escribano made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Millano Bartumeu was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpected shot in the 91st minute by Aureliusz Mockiewicz got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Millano Bartumeu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alberto Gisbert's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. In the 95thth minute of the game Bruno Beldad who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Granatowo-Bordowi's Millano Bartumeu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Chants of Granatowo-Bordowi echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Uruguay had held the ball for most of the match.
