Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Waldemar Batista made the kick off which started today's match. 5 minutes into the game, Hector Covarrubias recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Leonardo Moreira. Hector Covarrubias showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Jaime Pardo did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 3-0 to the left of a surprised Leonardo Moreira 13 minutes into the match. Jaime Pardo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Leonardo Moreira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Capivariano F.C.'s zone, Jaime Pardo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leonardo Moreira came out of the goal and Jaime Pardo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Hector Covarrubias came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Paraguay fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hector Covarrubias couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaime Pardo in the 29th minute of play forced Capivariano F.C.'s goalkeeper Leonardo Moreira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hector Covarrubias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 40 minutes into the game, Arthur Perez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Capivariano F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Paraguay the free kick. In the 41st match minute, Capivariano F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arthur Perez to maneuver through the defense. 43 minutes into the match, Capivariano F.C.'s goalkeeper Leonardo Moreira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Primitivo Escribano. After having played for 46 minutes, Hector Covarrubias managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Paraguay's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hector Covarrubias was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jaime Pardo made a kick off. Mathias Camargo kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. If Primitivo Escribano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jaime Pardo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Capivariano F.C. defense, Hector Covarrubias kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leonardo Moreira. The Capivariano F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leonardo Moreira should have stopped the shot. After having played for 70 minutes, Jaime Pardo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Paraguay's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
