The supporters of Venezuela booed when Juventus Țiu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mugurel Buda didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 13thth minute of the game Manuel Boteanu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 20 minutes into the game, Alexandru Chiriloaie was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Juventus Țiu's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Venezuela the free kick. In the 20th match minute, Juventus Țiu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexandru Chiriloaie to maneuver through the defense. Joshua Secada came free in the 22nd minute and tried to tip the ball over Marius Bălașa, but to the joy of Juventus Țiu's supporters the ball went over. 26 minutes into the game, Ernest Bărcăuan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Juventus Țiu's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Venezuela the free kick. A collision led to Juventus Țiu getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Ernest Bărcăuan hit a great ball. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Juventus Țiu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ernest Bărcăuan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Patricio Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Patricio Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marius Bălașa having to interfere. After 39 minutes, Manuel Boteanu made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Manuel Boteanu in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. In the 74th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jose Correa to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot 77 in the game by Tomas Illescas from a close distance when the talented Marius Bălașa managed to make a qualified save. Juventus Țiu's players were relieved. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 80th minute of play forced Juventus Țiu's goalkeeper Marius Bălașa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomas Illescas got free with Marius Bălașa in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 83 minutes had been played when some careless play by Venezuela's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Manuel Boteanu was slow to take the kick. During this time Juventus Țiu's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Juventus Țiu's corner Manuel Boteanu fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jonathan Ferrant quite easily take care of the ball. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marius Bălașa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. With a little luck, Juventus Țiu's Marius Bălașa got control of the ball when Tomas Illescas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Venezuela were awarded a corner in the 93th minute after Juventus Țiu's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tomas Illescas took the corner. Juventus Țiu were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Venezuela for a fine match.
