Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Mariano Lacasa took the kick off in the first half of the match. A nice corner shot did that Esa Garcha got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Thiago Pliego quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Esa Garcha hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Laurita FC's Arnulfo Kinsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 16th minute of play. Mariano Lacasa struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Arnulfo Kinsen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chile. Laurita FC were awarded a corner in the 23th minute after Chile's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Esa Garcha took the corner. After 25 played minutes Laurita FC got a freekick which was hit by Ezequiel Emesto. Thiago Pliego made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mario Alberto Kempes in the 27th minute. With a little luck, Chile's Thiago Pliego got control of the ball when Mario Alberto Kempes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Arnulfo Kinsen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Orlando Casaus in the 35th minute of play. The corner led Chile's Mariano Lacasa to fire away a dangerous shot which Arnulfo Kinsen despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. If Mariano Lacasa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Chile's attentive Felix Garrido managed to snatch the ball when Csaba Szénási made a throw-in in the 41st minute of the game. After the first half Chile were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Mario Alberto Kempes made the kick off in the second half. Laurita FC's Esa Garcha got his second yellow card of the match in the 54th minute. The referee ordered Esa Garcha off the ground. In the 54th match minute, Laurita FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Esa Garcha to maneuver through the defense. Chile's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Mariano Lacasa might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arnulfo Kinsen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out.
