Trece’s FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Enzo Manaers was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Aloísio Vides dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Trece’s FC's Aloísio Vides played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 35th minute of play. Aloísio Vides showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 40th minute of the match. 41 minutes into the game, Cristian Sancho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Aloísio Vides was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enzo Manaers, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Aloísio Vides took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Agustín Saelices, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Agustín Saelices in the 48th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aloísio Vides saved Trece’s FC from getting behind. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 72nd minute Luis Andino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aloísio Vides saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Trece’s FC's Aloísio Vides proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Trece’s FC from getting a goal against them. The corner led Ecuador's Daniel Zorita to fire away a dangerous shot which Aloísio Vides despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. A hard shot 80 in the game by Felix Montenegro from a close distance when the talented Aloísio Vides managed to make a qualified save. Trece’s FC's players were relieved. 91 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Agustín Saelices nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aloísio Vides made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-7. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Aloísio Vides in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ecuador played a much better game than Trece’s FC and deserved their victory. The Trece’s FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
