Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Mariano Lacasa started the match with the kick off. 2 minutes into the game, Binne Koppermann cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Thiago Pliego was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 7th minute, Binne Koppermann left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sporting Clube Patrício fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. 12 minutes into the game, Alan Tamayo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chile's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sporting Clube Patrício the free kick. Binne Koppermann walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. 21 minutes into the match, Sporting Clube Patrício's goalkeeper Ademar Azevedo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mariano Lacasa. 22 minutes into the match, Sporting Clube Patrício's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Lacasa came free, but Ademar Azevedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Chile's Felix Garrido got a free kick in the 23rd minute. In the 24th minute Binne Koppermann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Pliego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ademar Azevedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Orlando Casaus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Binne Koppermann blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Thiago Pliego having to make a save. After 40 minutes of play, Sporting Clube Patrício's Binne Koppermann made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Thiago Pliego was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 43rd match minute, Sporting Clube Patrício was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rogério Alves to maneuver through the defense. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Binne Koppermann's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Thiago Pliego read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 51st minute of play. Binne Koppermann could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Thiago Pliego made a huge save. Mariano Lacasa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ademar Azevedo having to interfere. If Mariano Lacasa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Sporting Clube Patrício's Ademar Azevedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Orlando Casaus in the 61st minute of play. If Mariano Lacasa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 95 minutes into the match, Sporting Clube Patrício's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Lacasa came free, but Ademar Azevedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Although Chile had been in control for most of the match, Sporting Clube Patrício still came away with the win.
