Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Paul Meyer kicked off to start the match. 5 minutes into the match, Sebastian Villa notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Caseys Dreamteam 2's Ed Wilhelm. Ed Wilhelm was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Lautaro Navarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paul Meyer in the 8th minute of play. Freek Wolf charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Freek Wolf the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Honduras booed when Caseys Dreamteam 2 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Freek Wolf didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lautaro Navarro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Paul Meyer in the 11th minute. The supporters of Caseys Dreamteam 2 booed when Honduras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valentín Carvallo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Charles McQuarrie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Lautaro Navarro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Caseys Dreamteam 2 getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Jeremy Paulin hit a great ball. Edmundo Espiga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ed Wilhelm having to interfere. After 27th play minutes Paul Meyer shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Lautaro Navarro and just under the crossbar into goal. Thanks to some nice moves Paul Meyer could shoot a difficult shot in the 31st minute, which Lautaro Navarro however easily saved by the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Caseys Dreamteam 2's zone, Sebastian Villa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ed Wilhelm came out of the goal and Sebastian Villa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Moises Tafalla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ed Wilhelm having to interfere. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Honduras from getting a goal against them. 41 minutes into the match, Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Paul Meyer. Ed Wilhelm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 42nd minute of play. 44 minutes into the match, Honduras's goal looked a bit too open when Charles McQuarrie came free, but Lautaro Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A throw-in in the 46th minute of the game was made by Freek Wolf with Evert Vennegoor as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Paul Meyer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Lautaro Navarro made a huge save. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edmundo Espiga stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Paul Meyer struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Lautaro Navarro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Caseys Dreamteam 2. Jeremy Paulin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Valentín Carvallo charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. After 63 minutes of play, Caseys Dreamteam 2's Paul Meyer made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lautaro Navarro was left in no man's land by his defense there! Charles McQuarrie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Lautaro Navarro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 72nd minute, Paul Meyer made a precise shot to the right of Lautaro Navarro. Honduras's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. When Emanuel Ocampo fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Honduras's protests and gave Emanuel Ocampo a yellow card for diving instead. Emanuel Ocampo hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Elmar Steelman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Caseys Dreamteam 2's supporters rose to their feet, but Elmar Steelman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lautaro Navarro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Claude Helssen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lautaro Navarro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. In the 82nd minute of the match Esteban Carvallo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ed Wilhelm showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Sebastian Villa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 90th match minute, Caseys Dreamteam 2 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andrézinho Gaúcho to maneuver through the defense. Ed Wilhelm was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Edmundo Espiga showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-2 in the 94 minute of play. The Caseys Dreamteam 2 players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
