Tomas Illescas scored 1-1 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Michal Hojnoš, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tomas Illescas during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Åkeshovs reservlag booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomas Illescas didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 43rd minute, Patricio Costa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. André Johnsson's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Jonathan Ferrant firmly grabbed it by the left post. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Tomas Illescas made the kick off in the second half. 62 minutes into the game, one of Åkeshovs reservlag:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. André Johnsson took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Åkeshovs reservlag made a substitution. Rikard Vesterberg replaced Gösta Lind. A collision led to Åkeshovs reservlag getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Alvar Johnsson hit a great ball. Sverker Lindström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Eric Anundsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Eric Anundsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. André Johnsson might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonathan Ferrant. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. André Johnsson ran back to his position shaking his head. André Johnsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. The supporters of Åkeshovs reservlag booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patricio Costa didn't get a good kick on the ball. 98 minutes into the match, Sverker Lindström notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Åkeshovs reservlag fully deserved thier win.
