After 32 played minutes ORIZABA F.C. got a freekick which was hit by 柯西升. 36 minutes into the match, Alberto Tafalla had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Oliver Kan. ORIZABA F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alberto Tafalla was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Oliver Kan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lautaro Mancebo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cyprian Oliszewski blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dante Lacasa having to make a save. 43 minutes into the match, Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cyprian Oliszewski. In the 47th minute Lautaro Mancebo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oliver Kan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The wind increased when Joel Gaona made the kick off in the second half. A throw-in in the 55th minute of the game was made by Cyprian Oliszewski with Fausto Beattie as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 57th minute, Cyprian Oliszewski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dante Lacasa was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Dante Lacasa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cyprian Oliszewski's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. Leonardo Leoz made in the 70th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Lautaro Mancebo immediately put the ball in play. ORIZABA F.C.'s Oliver Kan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 71st minute of play. In the 72nd minute, Leonardo Leoz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, ORIZABA F.C.'s Oliver Kan got control of the ball when Alberto Tafalla tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 80th minute of play forced ORIZABA F.C.'s goalkeeper Oliver Kan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oliver Kan made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Alberto Tafalla sent off a good shot on target. After 84 played minutes ORIZABA F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Cyprian Oliszewski. Oliver Kan was a little too slow when Luca Zorita got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 86th minute. The score was now 1-2. In the 90th match minute, ORIZABA F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Julian Kosakowski to maneuver through the defense. Mexico's Facundo Cadaval got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 96 minutes into the game, Alberto Tafalla cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Oliver Kan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Mexico played a much better game than ORIZABA F.C. and deserved their victory. The ORIZABA F.C. players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
