Sporting Clube Patrício's Ademar Azevedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abram Secada in the 94th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Sporting Clube Patrício's Vicente Maia slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Pedro Manzanares. That made the score 4-3 after 96 minutes of play. Sporting Clube Patrício's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
