Marcos Inautzi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcos Cotilla having to interfere. Tomas Berganza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Miguel Miralles kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. In the 17th minute of the match Frode Ophaug shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marcos Cotilla showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Ubaldo Pueblo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcos Cotilla having to interfere. Isidoro Sarmiento's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 24thth minute, Fabricio Gau skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Fabricio Gau made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Berganza in the 27th minute of play. Marcos Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ubaldo Pueblo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Abraham Alguacil could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Fabricio Gau made a huge save. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Fabricio Gau showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abraham Alguacil in the 52nd minute of the match. Gergely Fazekas kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Fabricio Gau showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abraham Alguacil, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. In the 66th minute, Calvin Davis had to leave the field with a concussion. Abraham Alguacil charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Abraham Alguacil the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ramblones 91218's Hernan Gitano was substituted for Calvin Davis. The supporters of Ramblones 91218 booed when Panama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abraham Alguacil didn't get a good kick on the ball. 70 minutes into the match, Ubaldo Pueblo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcos Cotilla. Panama's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ubaldo Pueblo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Marcos Inautzi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Marcos Cotilla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 78th match minute, Ramblones 91218 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcos Inautzi to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isidoro Sarmiento in the 82nd minute of play forced Ramblones 91218's goalkeeper Fabricio Gau to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abraham Alguacil struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Fabricio Gau didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Panama. In the 89th minute Tomas Berganza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabricio Gau saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 90th minute, Matthew Garrido hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Ramblones 91218 players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
