Ubaldo Pueblo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Benito Sanz was out of position in the 5 minute of play, and Ubaldo Pueblo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ubaldo Pueblo really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. In the 10th minute, Ubaldo Pueblo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benito Sanz was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joaquin Onofre in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benito Sanz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Efrain Moruga got a free kick in the 17th minute. 17 minutes in the game, Joaquin Onofre fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Benito Sanz having to interfere. Frode Ophaug received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Benito Sanz came out and tried to block the shot, but Frode Ophaug slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 19th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joaquin Onofre in the 22nd minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Efrain Moruga made in the 24th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Ramblones 91218's Pastor Cannava. An unexpected shot in the 26th minute by Ubaldo Pueblo got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Ubaldo Pueblo took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. 35 minutes into the match, Ramblones 91218's Ubaldo Pueblo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Benito Sanz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joaquin Onofre, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benito Sanz made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Ubaldo Pueblo sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as Ubaldo Pueblo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Benito Sanz. That made the score 5-0 in the 47 minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joaquin Onofre made a kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ubaldo Pueblo in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benito Sanz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Ramblones 91218 booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eliseo Noboa didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Marcos Inautzi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Ramblones 91218 booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aaron Alcocer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Ramblones 91218's Ubaldo Pueblo. But to his dismay, Ubaldo Pueblo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. In the 75th match minute, Ramblones 91218 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gergely Fazekas to maneuver through the defense. 77 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Joaquin Onofre came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benjamin Platon in the 82nd minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ubaldo Pueblo scored 7-0 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benito Sanz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ubaldo Pueblo scored 8-0 in the 97th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benito Sanz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Ramblones 91218 had played much better football throughout.
