Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Hajdar Tofkić made the kick off and thus started the match. If Hajdar Tofkić had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Honduras's Esteban Carvallo managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Muzafir Meter in the 11 minute of the game. Ismael Cebrian took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmundo Espiga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Petar Svraka struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Lautaro Navarro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Smotančeri. Sebastian Villa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ismael Cebrian read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. The supporters of FC Smotančeri booed when Honduras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christian Sancho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ismael Cebrian showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Moises Tafalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Hajdar Tofkić received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Lautaro Navarro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FC Smotančeri's Ismael Cebrian played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 34th minute of play. Ismael Cebrian came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Honduras's Edmundo Espiga. But to his dismay, Edmundo Espiga quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The referee felt a red card was in order, 46 minutes into the game, when Emanuel Ocampo put in a rough tackle. Oscar Restu shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sebastian Villa to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Luca Espinar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Honduras's supporters rose to their feet, but Luca Espinar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ismael Cebrian breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Tony Krstanović fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Smotančeri's protests and gave Tony Krstanović a yellow card for diving instead. After 54 played minutes FC Smotančeri got a freekick which was hit by Tony Krstanović. FC Smotančeri's Hrustan Mulić got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Moises Tafalla hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Tony Krstanović managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Smotančeri's supporters rose to their feet, but Tony Krstanović was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The FC Smotančeri fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. FC Smotančeri's Oma Smajlić was substituted for Petar Svraka. Ivan Navarro hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Esteban Carvallo during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Honduras's Esteban Carvallo got a free kick in the 89th minute. Moises Tafalla charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Moises Tafalla the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.
