Larpe Cabrera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 11th minute. Mariano Lacasa received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Larpe Cabrera came out and tried to block the shot, but Mariano Lacasa slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 11th minute. Nueva Adalucia's Larpe Cabrera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Nueva Adalucia from getting a goal against them. Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alvito Helguera in the 19th minute of play. Gerardo Pozo hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Gerardo Pozo lost his temper 21 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 21st minute of the game. One of Chile:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Nueva Adalucia:s goal. Thiago Pliego had in the 24thth minute some difficulties stopping Alvito Helguera's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 32nd minute Alvito Helguera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Pliego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Guillermo Fontirroig could shoot a difficult shot in the 39th minute, which Larpe Cabrera however easily saved by the left post. When the match clock showed 44 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Alvito Helguera sped through Chile's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Thiago Pliego.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Orlando Casaus made a kick off. A collision led to Chile getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Pedro Indiano hit a great ball. Andoitz Cartagena hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Mané Alcaraz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thiago Pliego having to interfere. A hard shot 72 in the game by Alvito Helguera from a close distance when the talented Thiago Pliego managed to make a qualified save. Chile's players were relieved. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alvito Helguera in the 77th minute of the match. In the 83rd minute, Juvenal Soler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Juvenal Soler hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. In the 89th match minute, Nueva Adalucia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manel Sans to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Chile getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Xavier Figueroa hit a great ball. The Nueva Adalucia players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Chile from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
