Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Primitivo Gorka made the kick off in the second half. If Moises Tafalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Primitivo Gorka got free with Lautaro Navarro in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 63 minutes of play I ll be back's Moreno Torricelli was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to I ll be back getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Moreno Torricelli hit a great ball. Róbert Borsos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 69th minute Honduras were awarded a corner. Edmundo Espiga went to the cornerflag to take it. Primitivo Gorka's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 75thth minute, Lautaro Navarro skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 77 minutes had been played when some careless play by Honduras's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Primitivo Gorka was slow to take the kick. During this time I ll be back's players had a chance to rest. Róbert Borsos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edmundo Espiga went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-3 was the resulting score. The supporters of Honduras booed when I ll be back was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gyula Kocsis didn't get a good kick on the ball.
