Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Axel Tasis got the match started through his kick off. After 2 played minutes Salud y República got a freekick which was hit by Reyes No. In the 6th minute Reyes No shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 7th minute Reyes No shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 8 minutes Costa Rica's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mauricio Astudillo who took care of the corner kick. Fructuoso Echavarri hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. In the 11th minute, Iosu Pantoja hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 14 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Abdika Philip came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 15 minutes Costa Rica's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mauricio Astudillo who took care of the corner kick. After 17 minutes of play, Salud y República's Abdika Philip made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Sanz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abdika Philip, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. 22 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Abdika Philip came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Costa Rica booed when Salud y República was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ximen Feria didn't get a good kick on the ball. Abel Carballo hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Abdika Philip struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Benito Sanz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Salud y República. After 28 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Hugo Ferrant. In the 29th minute Abdika Philip shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reyes No in the 30th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reyes No, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Axel Tasis got a free kick in the 33rd minute. In the 40th minute Abdika Philip shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 41 minutes of play, Salud y República's Reyes No made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Sanz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pacho Mondejar, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. In the 53rd minute of the match, Abdika Philip got a very nice opportunity to score, but Benito Sanz was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Abdika Philip's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Benito Sanz firmly grabbed it by the left post. With a little luck, Costa Rica's Benito Sanz got control of the ball when Abdika Philip tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Mauricio Astudillo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Salud y República's supporters rose to their feet, but Mauricio Astudillo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benito Sanz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 63 minutes into the game, Abdika Philip recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Benito Sanz. Abdika Philip showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. In the 65th play minute Reyes No came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Benito Sanz. 0-4. A hard shot 68 in the game by Abdika Philip from a close distance when the talented Benito Sanz managed to make a qualified save. Costa Rica's players were relieved. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reyes No in the 73rd minute of play. Abdika Philip recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 76th minute, Reyes No ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benito Sanz was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abdika Philip, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. In the 84th minute, Aaron Alcocer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Reyes No came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Salud y República fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Reyes No couldn't finish the play. Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Salud y República's Abdika Philip. But to his dismay, Abdika Philip quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. After 92 played minutes Salud y República got a freekick which was hit by Iosu Pantoja. In the 97th minute, Nisio Riba hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match was over Salud y República could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Costa Rica throughout the match.
