Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 33th minute after Csókos FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. Ecuador's Felix Montenegro was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Evrim Balz in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 34 minutes into the game, Felix Montenegro lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Evrim Balz. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Evrim Balz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Camilo Gisbert got a free kick in the 51st minute. The audience was convinced that Ruby Muzakki's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. 57 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Ruby Muzakki came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A very good chance. 78 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Felix Montenegro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Evrim Balz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Tamás Fülep's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tamás Fülep helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Csókos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tamás Fülep didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by József Benczur during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 79 played minutes Csókos FC got a freekick which was hit by József Benczur. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ruby Muzakki in the 82nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Csókos FC's Freddy Haedo got a free kick in the 85th minute. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evrim Balz having to interfere. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ruby Muzakki in the 90th minute of play. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
