The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rolando Noboa showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 14 minutes into the game, Cornelio Pelayo threw the ball into play from the sideline. Peru's Eliseo Mina quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. AFC Nirosxn 08's Mugurel Slătineanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 21st minute of play. Milagros Fraga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Mugurel Slătineanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Anthony Alvarado hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Peru were awarded a corner in the 94th minute after AFC Nirosxn 08's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Eliseo Mina took the corner. The corner led Peru's Rafael Gallo to fire away a dangerous shot which Mugurel Slătineanu despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The AFC Nirosxn 08 players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Peru from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
