Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miguel Godoy in the 18th minute of play. In the 20th minute of the match Auriolam II C.F. got a corner. Chile's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gabri Gutierrez ran over to the corner to take the kick. Francesc Balmaseda was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. 22 minutes into the match, Auriolam II C.F.'s goalkeeper Rubén Urruti had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mariano Lacasa.
